The data of a company in liquidation or administration
For insolvency practitioners and former directors. The Slack or Microsoft Teams archive of a company that has stopped trading can still be realised for the estate.
The buyer we refer to is micro1. Its program for companies that have stopped operating asks for 50 employees or more at the peak and a substantial Slack or Teams archive, mostly in English (criteria shown to its referral partners on 12 October 2026).
Referral link: micro1 pays this site a commission if a partnership is signed. The estate pays nothing; the contract is between the estate and micro1, on its terms.
What to know first
- An asset that is rarely listed — the Slack or Microsoft Teams archive, internal documentation and project histories of a company that employed 50 people or more at its peak. Specialised buyers license this kind of data for AI training, typically for a six- or seven-figure sum.
- Who decides — the office-holder, or whoever controls the data. Internal messages contain personal data of former employees: whether and how they can be transferred is a legal question for the office-holder and the buyer (UK GDPR), not something this site can settle or promise.
- What we do — tell us which estate and roughly how many people the company employed; we answer with whether it fits and what to do next. We are paid by the buyer if a partnership is signed, never by the estate.
- For a whole caseload — send the company numbers you hold; get back the ones that match the size and period the buyers look for.

Not sure the company qualifies? Ask first
Three things are enough: the company, roughly how many people it employed at its peak, and whether a Slack or Teams archive still exists. No payment is taken on this site.
